The Asset Containment Unit (ACU) was part of the InGen Security Division. Its role was to ensure the cloned dinosaurs (referred to as "assets") at Jurassic Parke on Isla Sornia remained in captivity and recapture them if they escaped.
Consisting of highly trained professionals, the ACU was armed mainly with Tasers and other non-lethal weapons so as not to kill the dinosaurs, although they also occasionally used firearms.
