Prelude - One designer's thoughts on design & innovation

What is innovation? Who finds it? Who makes it? If it were merely thinking of breakthrough ideas to provide solutions to the world around us, I can tell you with utter certainty that we'd have many more billionaires on the planet. Innovation is more than just an idea… It's an idea put into play, put into total momentum, so much so that the concept transforms from inception from one's mind into a physical object in our world. This early stage of idea sprinting is where most good ideas die. Before we can define the attempt of a good idea turned viable as innovation, it must run the gamut of proof of concept, R&D, failed results, and prototypes. Ultimately, a strategy for market introduction (some have lucked out in this department) proves itself vital, and then, at this time, you have successfully defined our definition of innovation.

Rootiment - why that name?

We entombed this commitment into our name. We stemmed from our core belief that innovative design should have a solid rudimentary foundation - followed by the need to stay rooted in this commitment. Companies have overused the term innovation time and time again. Rootiment Arms' members view innovation not as a trend or a buzzword but as a critical part of our strategy to ensure our products are revolutionary and push the boundaries of what is possible. Since our inception, Rootiment Arms has and will remain committed to providing warfighters, law enforcement, and airsoft training personnel innovation that matters.

We're rooted in innovation at the most rudimentary levels of who we are as a brand.
